The major biological function of Vitamin D is to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus. It also aids in the absorption of calcium, helping to form and maintain strong bones.
Studies now report that Vitamin D triggers the body’s immune cells to produce antibodies; therefore, vitamin D promotes an overall increase in the strength of the immune system. To date, more than 500 studies support the role of vitamin D in immune health.
Our vitamin D3 offers 1,000 IU per serving of natural-source Vitamin D3 as a fat-soluble liquid. D3 is the preferred form of vitamin D -not vitamin D2- because it is better metabolized by the body.*
